Grandpa Angelo

This morning, around 4:30am, we lost Tony's dad after a long battle with cancer. He had taken a turn for the worse over the weekend and ended up in the hospital. He passed away peacefully this morning, his wife Maria by his side.
We knew this day was coming, but it is still a very sad day in our house. Tony was very close with his dad and is was actually just the two of them in Italy after his parents divorced. He loved his dad, and called him "zucchini" in Italian every time he saw him. His dad always was dressed to a "T" with slacks, a pressed shirt and beautiful Italian shoes. He had the most gorgeous hair with soft curls that he combed backward - a classic Italian man with a classic Italian name, Arcangelo Cantafio.

We will miss you.
