Yes, I am a little late with this post. It is true, my eldest has turned 9! I cannot believe Jaden is that old now. It seems like yesterday when he would tell us about "cat pith" in the garage and jump in front of old people with walkers and yell "I blocka your way".
Jaden is a funny kid. He has this sense of humor that sometimes comes out of nowhere and knocks you on your butt with a funny one liner. Then there are those moments when he can make up the silliest joke and all he gets for a response is crickets.
He amazes me at how athletic he is. Everything seems to come easy for him, not only in sports but in school too. He has the highest math scores in the 3rd and 4 grades and has been benchmarked at end of 5th grade level. He is super fast and is really hard on himself if he does not win every game, whether it be in golf, basketball, football or even Tae Kwon Do.
He reminds me so much of Grandpa Doug at times. His very analytical way of thinking, his math mind and his sometimes pessimistic attitude. He is such a handsome boy and I am so proud to have him in my life. We love you Jaden - Happy B-Day!
