We had a wonderful Easter and decided to get out of dodge for the day. We scored tickets to Pelican Hill's egg hunt and brunch and took the boys for some great food. I cannot remember the last time I ate that much. My boys were all dressed up - a pretty big feat since my boys think that when you wear a tie or go to church it is for a funeral. So sad that there have been that many funerals in their short little lives.
Dylan's 4th birthday came and went with a trip to Disneyland for the day. We woke up and I did not have time to make a cake, so he got a Twinkie with candles and some yogurt on the side. He loves school and is now doing Tae Kwon Do and will start soccer in the fall. He loves "his boys" and just wants to hang out with his brothers.
We hung low on Mother's Day, just taking the dogs to the dog park and joining in a quick pick up game of soccer with the boys. Some mexican food with chips and dip later it the day and all was good. I thought of Mom alot and wished she was here to see the boys. She would have so much fun with them in all their antics. Some days I feel robbed that they just don't get to have that Grandma Saundra fix every few weeks when she would come for a hair cut. We are adjusting to life without her, but there is definitely a huge void.
The school year is winding down and I am looking forward to summer with the boys. I am going to make an effort to get out and see some more of LA while we have the chance. We will keep you updated on our adventures.
