Today is Grandma Saundra's birthday. I can't believe she has been gone for more than three years now. In some ways, time has healed, and the pain of missing her has eased. Then again, there are those moments that catch you off guard, take your breath, and you start to cry out of nowhere. I miss my best friend and still catch myself wanting to give her a call. We all wish you were here and just want to say happy birthday. Love you tons - you are the best.

I can't imagine how it feels. I think of her often.
I hope your start of the Summer is going well.
I spent her birthday, blissfully sleeping under anesthesia... that is one way to dull the pain of missing her.
